This started in July 2004, the plan was to photograph the New England Development every day from the Balcony on level 7 of New England House, It was photographed on traditional 35mm film.

Oxygéne

It began as a joke , ‘do you remember Jean Michelle at the London Docklands arena 1989 rockin’ the lightharp?’ But then we rewound fifteen years earlier to the mid seventies and excavated Oxygene. I’m not embarrassed that I like Jean Michelle Jarre - I’m too old, and that album genuinely operates on an emotional level. Also it’s interesting to note that he made it in his kitchen, which to me lends it a certain kind of sincerity, how many great works have been created in Kitchens? . This print doesn’t have much to do with Oxygene other than that was what I was most listening to at the time, maybe they share similar epic pretentions.
